Plymouth Historical Society

(860) 584-4634. The Society owns the Toll House that houses the 1852 Woodruff and Beach steam engine and the Alley House Museum displaying Plymouth memorabilia. Open last Sat. of month 1-2 pm or by appt.

T. A. Hungerford Library Museum

Established in 1906 as the Town of Harwinton’s library. Today it houses an extensive collection of local and unusual artifacts from the colonial period to the present. Special displays to be announced. May-Oct. 1-3 pm every other Sat. Group and off-hour tours by appt. call (860) 485-0517.
