The PGA of America and the United States Golf Association is sponsoring the sixth annual Patriot Golf Day®, to be held over Labor Day weekend, Aug. 31 – Sept. 3. Sparked by the vision and dedication of Major Dan Rooney, former F-16 fighter pilot, PGA Golf Professional, and USGA Member, Patriot Golf Day has spurred golfers nationwide to contribute more than $12.8 million over the past five years for scholarships that have been awarded to spouses and children of our military men and women killed or disabled while serving our Great Nation. The people associated with the great game of golf have long made lasting commitments to give back to charitable causes, so we are delighted Canton Indoor Golf Center has made this commitment to support Patriot Golf Day, which raised a record $3.9 million in 2011. Event Details: From 12:00pm - 6:00pm for a minimum $10 donation to the Folds of Honor Foundation there will be a FREE 15 minute lesson with a PGA Professional Instructor.
