Solo Tour at the Warner Theatre--FRIDAY JUNE 15, 2016.Infinity Hall will present Academy Award and GRAMMY winning artist Melissa Etheridge as she takes the Warner Theatre stage on June 15 at 8 pm to perform songs from her new album, This is M.E., as well as some of her greatest hits like, "Come To My Window", "I'm The Only One" and "I Want To Come Over." This performance is going to be taped by CPTV as part of INFINITY HALL LIVE, Season 5! All ticket sales will go through the Warner Box Office. On Thursday, June 16, 2016 from 10:30 to 12:30 at the Litchfield Community Center Jorge Sanchez, co-founder of SMI Landscape Architecture Inc. is guess speaker a this month's Open Conservation Meeting. Founded in 1982, SMI is a landscape architectural design firm specializing in estate, residential, civic and commercial master planning and incorporates landscape preservation and restoration. The firm's work can be viewed throughout the U.S. at botanical gardens, parks, campuses, museums and city streetscapes. This is an open meeting of the LGClub and all are welcome.

June 16, 2016--Time: 6:30 p.m. Join the Beardsley and Memorial Library for a program on Songbirds of the Northeast – Join naturalist and educator John Root for a presentation featuring both photographs and recordings of our region's songbirds. The role of song in these birds' lives as well as their diet, social behavior, and other adaptations for survival are discussed. Participants will also learn how to provide an attractive habitat for songbirds. This program is free and open to the public.

On Thursday, June 16, 2016 from 7 to 8 PM join Joseph Montebello s he facilitates a very special conversation with author Martha Hall Kelly:  Lilac Girls.   Inspired by the true story of Caroline Ferriday using her home in Bethlehem and her social position to help the women who were tortured at Ravensbruck concentration camp by the Nazis during World War II.  Wine and cheese reception follows the event.  Hickory Stick Bookshop will provide books for sale and signing.
