The Village Fair Days Committee is pleased to announce that they are seeking vendors for the 2008 Village Fair Days: Arts, Crafts, Antiques, Businesses, Organizations, Church Groups, and Clubs. Sponsored by the Greater New Milford Chamber of Commerce and held on the magnificent village Green, Village Fair Days is the largest annual event in New Milford and draws thousands of visitors every year. With 2 full days of live entertainment, bingo, a food court and over a hundred vendor and community booths, Village Fair Days is a summertime destination for shopping, eating and browsing. On Friday, July 24,from 7-10PM the final round of the karaoke style singing competition will be held. 1st Annual Guided Walking Tour Benefits Roxbury Senior Center Friends

Roxbury Historic Town Center will be the focus of a guided walking tour 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. Led by volunteer guides, ticket holders will make stops at 15 private homes, three churches and several town buildings viewing from outside and hearing about the history. Refreshments will be sold and in some cases one might see the grounds and secluded gardens and meet with the home owners. Walking Tours will begin at the Roxbury Senior Center, located on South Street, in the old Town Hall. Tickets in advance are $25.00 which include refreshments Day of event tickets will be $30, at the senior center. Rain date for the tour is Sunday, July 26th. For more information call 860-354-1790.
