On Sunday, 3 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. Learn how battlefields archaeologist from the Mashantucket Pequot & Research Center identify New England’s earliest battle sites associated with the Pequot War (1636-1637) and King Philip’s War (1675-1676).  Join Kevin McBride, Director of Research at the Pequot Museum, military historian David Naumec as they share their experiences and knowledge about the regional history of these conflicts, as well as archaeological results from recent investigations in Connecticut, Rhode Island and their future work in Massachusetts.  McBride is also an associate professor of Anthropology at UConn, and Naumec is a doctoral candidate in history at Clark University. $5; Free to LHAC Members.
