Hunt Library in Falls Village will host its 7th annual popular year-end flash art exhibit, 12X12 2017, on Saturday, December 9 with a reception from 5pm to 7pm. Imitated by many but never surpassed in quality, 12X12 2017 features original artworks by 76 local artists, all in a 12" x 12" format, priced at $100 each, and sold off-the-wall. Works will be replaced on the wall as they are sold. Remaining art will be on display through Saturday, December 30. The reception with refreshments is free and open to the public. Advance tickets for our 23rd anniversary Holiday House Tour go on sale in November. Advance tickets for $30 may be purchased in Woodbury at Canfield Corner Pharmacy, Curtis House, Maison St. Germain Vintage, Woodbury Drug and Woodbury Farm Market. They may also be purchased at Newbury Place in Southbury, Town Apothecary in Bethlehem, Roxbury Market & Deli in Roxbury, Hickory Stick Bookshop in Washington, The Village Restaurant in Litchfield and at Yankee Quilters in Seymour. There is plenty of parking at the Senior Center. Homes on the tour will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Visitors on the tour are asked to bring slippers since shoes must be taken off in the houses.
