On Saturday, January 30, 2016 The American Revolution Video Seminar Series created through Open Yale Courses from 2 to 3 p.m. The Confederation. This lecture discusses the ongoing political experimentation involved in creating new constitutions for the new American states.This series began July 22, 2015 and runs to April 23, 2016. Bald Eagle Viewing For All Come join us for an eagle watch on January 30th at the Shepaug Dam recreation area in Southbury. A time slot has been reserved for the Flanders group and a docent will be on hand to help us with viewing and to answer questions about America's national symbol. There is a limited number of spotting scopes available at the site, so feel free to bring binoculars, spotting scopes and cameras. Space limited. Must preregister.
