The eight-part documentary "500 Nations" explores the history of the indigenous peoples of North and Central America from pre-Columbian times to the end of the 19th century. Part two "Mexico - The Rise and Fall of the Aztecs," begins in 650 A.D. and examines the Aztec Empire from their defeat of the Toltec regime to Cortez's ultimate conquest of the Aztecs and all of Mexico. Run time: 47 minutes.
