On Saturday March 21, 2015 at 4:00PM at the Scoville Memorial Library a program:  Valerie Balint, Associate Curator, The Olana Partnership, presents A Great Abundance of Everything: Life at Frederic Church's Olana. Era of Elegance Series, Salisbury Association Historical Society, in collaboration with Scoville Memorial Library. This illustrated lecture will discuss Frederic Church's artistic career, the development of Church's home and landscape at Olana, as well as daily life for family and guests in the nineteenth-century. Frederic Edwin Church (1826-1900) was one of the premier landscape painters of the nineteenth-century. Church designed Olana, his family home, studio and farm as an integrated environment embracing architecture, art and landscape. Considered one of the most important artists' residences in the United States,

Paris Soiree "Murder Mystery Game" at Beardsley and Memorial Library on Saturday, March 21, 2015, between 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. Registration is required. DEADLINE. February 23 for those wishing to play active roles. Detectives who enjoy observing and solving crimes from the sidelines, may register later. Cost: $40.

Tours between 10am and 4pm Admission: $6 adults, $4 children 12 and under (under 2 free). On-going guided 45-minute tours will lead visitors through the Center's sugaring operation, including a working sugarhouse and a re-creation of Native American and early colonial sugaring methods. Participants can watch as pure sugar maple sap is collected from the trees and turned into delicious maple syrup. Fresh syrup will be available for purchase while supplies last. Wear boots, as our trail is often snow-covered or muddy! Depending on sap flow, the sugarhouse will also be open each weekend in March for visitors. Call ahead to see if Audubon staff will be boiling sap.
