Each tour is $5.00 per person and single tickets for individuals or groups of 10 or less can be purchased online at www.palacetheaterct.org. Larger groups are asked to contact the Box Office at 203-346-2000 to book their reservations. A special boxed lunch and tour package prepared by Riverhouse Catering is also available for groups of 15 or more and cost $17per person. Reservations for the lunch package need to be made at least three days in advance of the desired tour date.

Kent Historical Society will offer a hike in conjunction with its current exhibit on Sunday, Aug. 17 at 9 a.m. at Macedonia Brook State Park to explore ruins of the Macedonia Furnace and Forge, as well as the charcoal mounds on the property. The 1.5 mile hike is expected to last up to 2 hours. Attendees invited back to view the exhibit, “Iron, Wood and Water: Essential Elements of the Evolution of Kent” at Seven Hearths Museum, 4 Studio Hill Rd., Kent. On Sunday, August 17, 2014the 39th Annual Litchfield Hills Historical Auto Club auto show will be held at the Goshen Fairgrounds. Held rain or shine.  Will feature a flea market from 8AM to 3PM with the car show running from 10AM to 3PM.  There will be plaques for the first 300 vehicles entered.  Show car entry fee is $10.  Food, refreshments, entertainment and activities through the event.  Spectator admission $3.  Ages 6 and under get in free.
