Sally Allen will sign copies of her new book, Unlocking Worlds: A Reading Companion for Book Lovers, (Griffins Wharf, $15.00) at The Hickory Stick Bookshop on Saturday, December 19th at 2:00 pm. Unlocking Worlds begins with a chapter explaining how to let a book change you. In it, Allen explains that it is not necessary that a reader connects with a literary masterpiece. Rather, it is totally okay to be able to relate to a book not considered a literary masterpiece. Reading is very personal and subjective.
