Tuesday, August 19: 10:30 a.m. – 11:15 p.m. (Kid Friendly).  Due to the tours' increasing popularity, reservations are now required in advance. Each tour is $5.00 per person and single tickets for individuals or groups of 10 or less can be purchased online at www.palacetheaterct.org. Larger groups are asked to contact the Box Office at 203-346-2000 to book their reservations. A special boxed lunch and tour package prepared by Riverhouse Catering is also available for groups of 15 or more and cost $17per person. Reservations for the lunch package need to be made at least three days in advance of the desired tour date.

Family tours will be conducted daily after 1PM through August 30, 2014 at the Bellamy-Ferriday House and Gardens.  Thee will be a short tour of the house museum by Sandy Sakalas, museum interpreter who will be dressed as Mrs. Bellamy.  Tours best suited for ages 6 to 11, although others are welcome.  Registration is suggested as space is limited.

Ridgefield Art Walk: Family Workshop—Collaging Memories Saturday, August 23 · 12 pm to 5 pm, FREE for members and children under 18; FREE with the price of admission. Stroll to The Aldrich during Art Walk Ridgefield 2014 and create a mixed-media visual archive of this summer. Bring photographs, ticket stubs, souvenirs, and flowers to add to your collage. Use wallpaper samples, origami paper, stickers, foam adhesives, and more to make a montage to capture the best of the season's fun! Art Walk Ridgefield kicks off on Friday, August 22, with opening receptions in the stores for their featured artists and continues on Saturday, August 23. Audubon Sharon - “Stream Stomp and Pond Romp”

Audubon Sharon will be presenting a free public program for families called “Stream Stomp and Pond Romp” on Saturday, August 23 from 10:00-11:30am at the Sharon Audubon Center, located on Route 4 in Sharon, CT.  Participants will join Intern Naturalist Zach Adams in search of various critters that call the pond and stream home. We’ll use dip nets to look for snails, tadpoles, beetles, dragonfly nymphs and more living in the muck on the bottom of the pond and we’ll flip over rocks in the stream in search of water pennies, crayfish, stoneflies and other surprises!  Please wear shoes that you can wear into the stream.
