Barkhamsted Historical Society October Event--Oct. 18, 2014.  Come join us at Squire's Tavern  Oct .18th at 2pm for the unveiling of two Vito Covelli paintings recently acquired by the Historical Society.Vito Covelli was a Barkhamsted resident during the mid 1900's and was a prolific landscape artist. He was an active participant in the WPA artist program during the Great Depression. His niece,Olivia Covelli will unveil the paintings at a reception held in the Tavern's recently redecorated Ladies Parlor.

The David M.
