Litchfield Farmers' market - INDOORS. This year round CT Grown farmers' market continues indoors for two more Saturdays: 5/28 and 6/11, before moving outdoors on 6/18. Markets are held on Saturdays, 10 am - 1 pm at the Litchfield Community Center. Over 18 vendors participate offering seasonal field-fresh and cold-stored fruits, vegetables and herbs; local eggs; pasture fed beef, pork, chicken and duck; artisanal breads and chocolates; pies, cider doughnuts and baked goods; jams, jellies, chutney, pickles, sauces and hot sauce made from local ingredients; award winning goat and cow cheese; honey; maple syrup and goat milk soaps. Local restaurants offer foods to go. A recipe tasting each week. Music, guest artists, chef demonstrations, local nonprofits and a free gardening and cookbook exchange.
