12 noon - 5 p.m. Once a month, April through October, the Military Museum, Inc. opens its doors - literally - to many of our vehicles! Explore the tanks and armored vehicles that were active in our nation's conflicts and experience what it's like to pilot history.  Tips for Open Turret Days: (CANCELLED IF RAINING) Rubber-soled shoes are required to protect our vehicles from too much wear and tear. Be sure to wear clothing that won't get caught on hatches and parts. Watch your head!

The popular IMSA-sanctioned Ferrari Challenge North America returns to Lime Rock Park in 2016. Created in 1993 for Ferrari owners who wanted to go racing, it now encompasses three official championships: United States, Asia-Pacific and Europe. Drivers race the Ferrari 458C ("competition") car, which are exceedingly quick at Lime Rock. Competitors from each of the three continental series are brought together at the annual end-of-season World Finals event in Italy. The Giant Pumpkin Weigh-Off in Ballard Park is planned for September 25, 2016 from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. in Ballard Park. Growers from around the region will compete for cash prizes. There will be music, kid's activities, meet the growers and learn about growing. There will also be a pumpkin carving demonstration, food trucks, ice cream and donuts as well as exhibitors, shopping, farm stands and more.
