12 noon. Join us for a variety of live demonstrations featuring some of the domestic skills our ancestors used in their daily lives. We will have a blacksmith with his portable forge showing how a number of iron items were produced that were needed around the farms, as well as craft demonstrations including: weaving, spinning, candle making, basket weaving, rush chair seat weaving, corn husk dolls, and old hand tools and games to try. This year we will again have a sheep shearing demonstration and some friendly goats roaming around. Returning this year will be an encampment on the grounds by the Lebanon Towne Militia. We will be able to see how they lived while being ready to defend their town. These activities will take place on the Tavern grounds and the Tavern will be open for touring.
