Tuesday, November 18 | 7 PM | at the Studio. Flanders welcomes University of Connecticut Ph.D. candidate Michael Evans who will discuss research on Connecticut's bears. Bring your questions! A Rochester, NY native, Mike is interested in wildlife ecology and the dynamics between humans and bears. He comes to Connecticut by way of Saskatchewan where he worked for a year on a mountain lion research project. Mike completed his M.S. degree at the University of Buffalo. His goal is to apply research in areas of conservation and management to promote an understanding of human and wildlife needs, effects, and coexistence. All ages welcome.
