On February 27, 2016 at the Mattatuck Museum at 1PM The Apostolic Poets' Society presents God's Trombones: Seven Negro Sermons in Verse.  The event is a stage adaptation by Shawn Morrison of A Poetic Boo of Negro Sermons by James Weldon Johnson.  Biblical stories art weaved into an uplifting spiritual celebration through powerful poetry, singing , dancing and art.  Museum entrance Costs $7 adults, $6 seniors and students; ages 16 and under free.

Figure drawing sessions will be held at 2PM on Sundays, Fe. 28 and March 20, 2016 at the Mattatuck Museum.  Led by Post University drawing and life drawing instructor and painter Sheri Schwartz, the museum will provide a nude figure model for the classes.  All level artists are invited.  Call to reigister.  Class fee $15 members, $25 non members and $10 students.
