Ridgefield Annual Tree Lighting

Main St., Ridgefield, CT

The annual holiday tree lighting ceremony takes place the Friday after Thanksgiving, beginning at 6 pm, in front of Town Hall. A short ceremony featuring carolers and other local officials will set the stage for the illumination of the 17,000 lights that will sparkle in Downtown Ridgefield this holiday season. This year the honorary flipping-of-the-light-switch is anticipated at 6:30 p.m. Once the switch is flipped, and all the trees are lit, we have confirmation from the North Pole's head elf that Santa and Mrs. Claus will come riding into town on a fire truck at approximately 6:40 p.m.
