Sally Rogers is a musician who lives outside of Hartford Connecticut., she plays guitar, banjo, and dulcimer and specializes in traditional folk, old-timey and (most recently) children's music. The 6:30PM concert is free and the public is encouraged to bring a blanket and a picnic or take out from the many downtown restaurants. You may also rent chairs at the Green if you would like. This Classic Rock band has been playing together for four years. Band members have resumes that boast performances with the unparallel talents of The Doors and Peter Tosh. Doug Wahlberg Band has opened for classic acts such as The Ramones, David Johanson, Cheap Trick and just recently for John Hammond and Mountain. Their music has traveled international air waves, had exposure on New York radio stations and has been widely received in the college radio circuit. Will Duchon, Classical Pianist will perform at Hunt Hill Farm in the Silo Gallery c. 1800 barn. After having been twice declared a semifinalist in the prestigious Concert Artists Guild competitions in New York, Will has performed extensively in the NY Metropolitan area. He was the winner of the 1990 Artists International Young Musicians Auditions, and made his professional debut at Carnegie Recital Hall that year. In 1998, Will recorded a CD, ?Tableaux?, which features music by Rachmaninov and Scriabin. Since 2004, Will has been a broadcaster for WMNR Fine Arts Radio. Reservations required. The Hat City Blues Band is back for a second year. The band is the result of several gatherings at Open Mic night at the former Blues Alley in Danbury five years ago. They are composed of 6 musicians from varied musical backgrounds. Offering an eclectic mix of blues and rock from Delbert McClinton, Tommy Castro, Allman Brothers, Coco Montoya, BB King and Eric Clapton, a premium is placed on entertainment and providing music that will make you want to dance from the first note to the last.
