On Saturday, September 13, 2008 our Vineyard Walk, Cellar Tour and Bounty Lunch. Come join us on a guided stroll through our vineyards. Take a tour of the wine cellar and learn about wine making in New England. Enjoy a heartyful Bounty Lunch and a glass of wine. Begins at 11AM. Lasts approximately 3 hours. Reservations required. $30 per person. At 5PM join a Jazz and Wine and Cheese Pairing. On Sunday, September 14 from noon until 5PM join the Colonial Green Fair in its thirteenth year. The event promises to be an adventure for the entire family as you take a step back in time to Old Woodbury. The day will feature Colonial demonstrations including woodturning, blacksmithing, chair making, spinning, weaving and basket making. The Pisgah Mountain Primitives will be working over hot coals preparing a Colonial meal. Professional storyteller Joyce Marie Rayno will be sharing her CT tall tales. Pony rides will be available where live animals including oxen, goats and sheep will be grazing. Craft vendors with soaps, iron lanterns will be selling their wares.
