The Waterbury Symphony Orchestra continues it's 70th Season with another exciting afternoon of music on Sunday, January 27, 2008. The concert begins at 3:00 PM at the Naugatuck Valley Community College Fine Arts Center, with the pre-concert lecture beginning at 2:15 PM in the concert hall.

The concert begins by featuring Pianist William Wolfram performing Brahms' Piano Concerto No. 2. This monumental concerto highlights Mr. Wolfram's technical skill and artistic grace.

The second half of the concert features Antonin Dvorak's Symphony No. 8 in G Major. The piece draws upon the Bohemian folk music that Dvorak loved so much, and therefore has a very cheerful and light-hearted feel to it.

Tickets for the concert are $40, $30, $15, and $5 for Students. Or, purchase a Family Pack, get two adult tickets and up to four student/child tickets for only $50! Tickets can be purchased by calling 203-574-4283 or by visiting here.
