The Barkhamsted Historical Society wishes to invite you to the first of our Annual Programs to be held at the Barkhamsted Senior Center,109 West River Rd,Pleasant Valley ,Ct at 7PM on February 8,2013.  Charles Hall,Pastor of the First Congregational Church of Barkhamsted will share his hobby of building models of American sailing ships from plans. He will discuss how he constructs the models and will provide historical background on some of the many ships in his collection;ranging from small fishing boats up to
