As part of the continuing series featuring local chefs and local foods Salisbury's Country Bistro will demonstrate ideas and recipes for keeping warm the remainder of winter and spring with fresh soups. Holly Hunter Stonehill and Jacqueline Heriteau, author of "A Feast of Soups", show and tell the equipment, basic ingredients and secret to success with just about every soup ever made. They will discuss soups and "Stewps", that is thick stewy soups, that are hot, hearty and comforting dishes using produce from local growers and markets, even in the end of winter. They detail ethnic accents such as French, Italian or Indian and how to achieve them. Stonehill and Heriteau discuss Bistro's three most popular soups and how to make them.
