On Wednesday, May 6, 2009 at 7PM Dr. Nicholas Bellantoni, CT State Archeologist and associate professor of Anthroplogy at the University of Connecticut will lecture on Native Americans in the Naugatuck Valley. Join artist Alejandro Diaz at the Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum for a Brown Bag Tour of his exhibition, Blame it on Mexico, on Wednesday, May 6, 2009 from 11AM to 1PM. This satirical new exhibition uses humor to draw attention to the imbedded cultural sterotypes with which Diaz is familiar from his bicultural Mexican/Texan upbringing.
