Litchfield Historical Society Hosts Pet Parade--July 4th

The Litchfield Historical Society will hold its annual Pet Parade and Turn of the Century Fest beginning from 2:30 pm. to 4:30PM. Pets of any kind are welcome. The actual parade will commence at 2:30PM. The afternoon will conclude with old-fashioned games and an ice cream social hosted by the Society.Date: July 4, 2016.   Free for all ages..  Location: Litchfield History Museum. Bring your pet uptown for an old fashioned Pet Parade! Also, old fashioned games, sack races, rug of war, seed-spitting contests and more.  Ice cream donated by Peaches 'n Cream.  Refreshments donated by Stop and Shop.  All pets must be on leashes and where applicable in cages.  Registration begins at 2:15PM after the cannon.
