Kent Art Association hosts the Elected Artists' Invitational Exhibition and the 2011 Solo Show from Sunday, September 11 until Sunday, October 16, 2011.  Works include oils, watercolors, pastels, graphics and sculpture.  All works are for sale.  Participating artists are members of the Kent Art Association and have achieved elected artist status by being juried into several shows.  Admission is free and the publc is invited to come and enjoy the works of our artists.

On Sunday, September 11, 2011 at 3PM at Edmond Town Hall the Newtown Friends of Music present a concert of Winsor Music by Peggy Pearson, oboe.  Pearson and her friends were here on the Sunday following the fateful 9/11/01.  Now, ten years later she has agreed to come again and bring with her a group of young musicians, one of whom has composed music for just this occasion.  Mozart and Mendelssohn will also be on the program.  Check the website or call for this season's subscription.
