There will be many different activities in the downtown stores for shoppers to enjoy while they do their holiday shopping. Horse drawn carriage rides, storytelling, Popcorn, Cookies, Hot Chocolate, Carol Singing, Marshmallow Roasting and Free Gift Wrapping will be featured at this year's event. On Saturday, December 13, 2008 at 2PM you can explore the holiday fashions of the time period--1876-- during a special one-woman show that will be held at the adjacent Kellogg Environmental Center next to the Osborne Homestead Museum. During the performance, actress Kandi Carle will get dressed for the audience, using her collection of authentic historic clothing to illustrate the manners and customs of the period dress.
