Young Artist Happenings: Fabric Design with Artist Ruth Root--Thursday, December 3, 2015, 5:30 pm to 7 pm--$15. Meet Ruth Root and learn about her process for creating, testing, and ordering fabric for her large-scale mixed-media works. Root will lead participants through the online program she uses, discuss how she designs patterns and colors, and teach teens how to produce their own patterned material. Registration encouraged.

Step back in time as you enter the Meeting House of the South Britain Congregational Church to hear the classic tale of Charles Dicken's, A Christmas Carol. Actor and Instructor Stephen Collins will conclude Arts Escape's 2015 season with his adaptation of a classic tale. Stephen Collins grew up in Cambridge, and received a BA in Literature from UMass Boston.
