believe that painting very fast will help the artist concentrate on getting the job done and prevent thinking about extranious thoughts. This will help the artist in gaining insights into what is important in their work and what is not. It will allow the artist to lose attachment to the painting and let the soul take over. We will do 3 or more 9" x 12" paintings the first morning and 2 or more after a lunch break. We will hold a critique from 3 - 4pm. The second day we will do one 24" x 36" or similar size in the morning and one in the afternoon with a critique from 3 - 4pm. This workshop is for painters with some experience. Saturday and Sunday, January 14 and 15; 10am - 4pm $350 mbr, $405 non-mbr; materials extra.
