Fourth Annual Little Britches 5K Run/Walk - Bridgewater

 The race starts at the Bridgewater Pavilion, Sarah Sanford Road East, and winds through the picturesque back roads of Bridgewater. Race day registration opens at 8 am and with a start time of 9:30am. All proceeds will benefit the not-for-profit Little Britches Therapeutic Riding program with sites in Roxbury and Woodbury. The first 200 registrants will receive t-shirts and gift bags. Awards will be given for 1st overall male, 1st overall female, and six age divisions. Naugatuck Chamber of Commerce will host the Chamber's 11th Annual Duck Day and Race on June 5, 2016 rain or shine in downtown Naugatuck.  15,000 rubber ducks dumped by a payloader from the Whittemore Bridge to race down the Naugauck River with the first 26 ducks to cross the finish line with the first prize of $5,000.  150 organization have taken part over the past 10 years.  A great event.
