Make your own dreamcatcher! Join Janis Us (Mohawk-Shinnecock descent) as she guides participants in the traditional art of weaving a dreamcatcher. This centuries-old craft allowed good dreams to pass through while bad dreams got tangled in the web to be burned away with the morning sun.

Starting Sunday March 30th The Litchfield Saltwater Grille will offer a Jazz Brunch Buffet from 11 AM through 3 PM every Sunday! The brunch buffet is $19.00 for adults and $8.00 for children under 12 years old. Each week will feature a live jazz solo pianist. The brunch menu includes a filet mignon carving station, omelets prepared to order by the chef, pancakes, French toast, sausage, bacon, cold salads, fresh fruit, house made baked goods and much more! A new Harney and sons Tea List is also now offered featuring 11 specialty teas at $4.75 a pot. An ala carte brunch menu is also offered with items priced between $5.00 and $12.00. Brookfield Craft Center - A new exhibition Jump: The Synergy of Connection

Opening in the Lynn Tendler Bignell Gallery at the Brookfield Craft Center on Sunday. A public opening/reception will be held that day from 1-4pm with a special curator's talk at 3:00pm. The artists selected for this exhibition employ their own unique ways of working with their chosen materials to redefine what chain maille means in today's world of body armor and wearable art for the body. The work on display represents a unique collection of items suitable for architectural applications as well as for personal attire or artful sculpture. The participating artists are: David Austin, Conner Bishop, Ruth Borgenicht, Robert Dancik, Dennis Gardner, Lindsay Ketterer Gates, Cas Holman, David Licata, Scott David Plumlee, Leslie Pontz, Judy Walker and Donovan Widmer. The show will be open daily and will run through May 4th, 2008.
