Fire As A Tool

Small, controlled fires and stone tools were used to make traditional Native American dugout canoes. Utilizing this technique under the guidance of Jamie Leffler, Primitive Technologist, you will begin to carve out a simple wooden bowl or ladle. Stone scrapers will be available for use; you are encouraged to bring a pocketknife as well.
