The UConn Torrington LCWP spring 2010 class, �Word and Spirit,� examines Litchfield County authors� works on spirit, through personal exploration to how spirituality affects community and politics. . In the final guest event of the semester, author Dani Shapiro talks to Davyne Verstandig about the inspiration for and ideas that drove her to write her latest memoir, �Devotion�. A book sale and book signing follow the readings. Starts at 6:30pm. Free and open to the public.
