On Saturday, June 6, 2015 from 10AM to 3PM White Memorial Foundation will offer a hike of trails which define the foundation.  Wear sturdy boots.  Distance: 4 miles.  Meet in front of the A.B. Ceder Room at The  Museum at the White Memorial Conservation Center at 80 Whitehall Road.  Rain or shine.  Pre-registration is not necessary.  Call for further information.

TIME TO DECLUTTER - SPRING CLEANING DISCARDS WANTED FOR 15 th Annual TAG SALE HOSTED BY KELLOGG SCHOOL AND FALLS VILLAGE DAY CARE, June 6th and 7, 2015.  Friends of Lee Kellogg School (FOLKS) and the Falls Village Day Care Center ask that while people do their spring cleaning and decluttering, they help both local organizations by donating their usable items for a colossal cooperative tag sale to be held on the weekend of June 6th and 7th at Lee H. Kellogg School in Falls Village. Donated items, large and small, clean and in good working order, can be dropped off at Kellogg School (on Rt. 126/Main Street) Thursday, June 4th and Friday, June 5th from 3:30 to 5:30p.m. The Tag Sale will be open for early birds from 7am-9am on Sat. June 6th with a $5 admission. It will then run from 9am-3pm on Saturday and 9am-5pm on Sunday, June 7th, 1/2 price on all remaining items.

Join us for a tour to some of the sites related to the (in)famous Beecher family, residents of Litchfield from 1810 to 1826. From the Congregational Church where Lyman served as minister to the sidewalks of North Street where Henry pulled pranks, participants will get to see the town through the Beechers' eyes. During each tour, a museum educator or guest tour guide offers participants a new way to look at their surroundings with themed walks through Litchfield's history. Each tour lasts about an hour—make sure to bring a bottle of water and wear comfortable shoes!This program is free for members and $10 for non-members; registration is required
