1st Annual Blackberry Festival and Dance Workshop

The White Silo Farm & Winery is hosting their first annual blackberry festival on Saturday August 20th and Sunday August 21st from 12-5 PM.  The blackberry festival will feature small plates of food prepared with our farm grown Blackberries. Blackberry Crisp, Blackberry panna cotta, Roast pork with Blackberry Sauce are a few of the dishes to be served. Additional items will be added to the menu. Admission is free. Each portion of food is $5 per portion. Free farm museum, winery and field tours will be held throughout the day.  This is a family oriented event with live music 1-5 PM each day Dance Workshop Open Spaces Dance held from 12-2pm on Saturday Aug. 20 is the beginning of an outdoor dance workshop series in Sherman led by movement artist Adelka Polak, a recent recipient of a Puffin Grant Award for an environmental performance project.  The lunchtime dance session will be held outdoors, so wear comfortable shoes.  The suggested fee is $20 for workshop participants.
