Wisdom House Retreat and Conference Center joins with the Abbey of Regina Laudis to present a special program, Christmas Creche on Saturday, Noember 19, 2011 from 9:30AM to 3:30PM.  Beginning at Wisdom House, participants will learn the history of the creche and the restoration which took place in 2008. The afternoon session will be held at the Abbey of Regina Laudis where participants can see the actual creche.  Cost $40.  Each participant may bring a friend for $25.  Call for further information.

BRUCE ADAMS, KENT'S FIRST SELECTMAN PRESENTS A VERSION OF JEOPARDY AT KENT HISTORICAL SOCIETY SUNDAY SERIES PROGRAM  Kent's First Selectman Bruce Adams will present his version of the long running TV game show Jeopardy on November 20th at 2:00PM at the Kent Town Hall. Bruce started playing weekly Jeopardy games with his Kent Center School students back in the 70's and more recently has played it with adults at the Kent Lions Club and the Kent Senior Center. The questions for the KHS game will be widely ranging but all of an historical nature. Some will be national, some state and of course there will be some Kent questions. Two teams will be pre-selected by the KHS and audience participation is encouraged to form another team to compete for the title.
