247 Litchfield Turnpik, Marble Dale, CT
On Saturday, December 6 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. In the tradition of an old-fashioned church bazaar, members of St. Andrew’s will provide lots of food – Averill Farm doughnuts and coffee in the morning, and soup and sandwich for lunch. Lunch is $5 per person. All the bakers will be donating goodies for the Bake Sale, which will be in business all day long. Guests can place their bids on a selection of items and gift certificates in the Chinese Auction, and a Silent Auction will feature items like an Abbott painting and a handmade quilt. There will be a special little shop for “Children Only.” Here children will be able to select, purchase, wrap and label very affordable gifts for their whole family while their parents can browse the Big Room. In addition to all of this, there will be a special book collection – gift books, cookbooks, gardening and travel books, and Children’s Christmas books. Handcrafted items, holiday ornaments and unusual gifts will be for sale, along with St.Andrew’s 250th History book, the commemorative 250th ornament, and packages of notecards that feature the church’s Tiffany windows. Visit the church’s website at www,saintandrewsmarbledale.org for more information.
