On Saturday, February 28, 2009 from 8AM to 6PM Ski Sundown will hold Scout Day. Plan a day of skiing and snowboarding fun for your scout group. Lift, lesson and rental options for ages 7 and older. Special Merit Badge Workshop available. New and learning skiers or snowboarders will get a solid introduction to the skills required to earn the Snowsports Merit Badge. Intermediate and skilled skiers and snowboarders will have the opportunity to do their actual Snowsports Merit Badge test with instructors who are also registered Merit Badge Counselors. Frank Delaney will visit the Hickory Stick Bookshop just in time for St. Patrick's Day, signing copies of his latest book, Shannon on Saturday, February 28, 2009. The novel to be released on February 10th tells the story of Robert Shannon, a young American hero of the Great War, who arrives in Ireland in 1922, looking for his family roots.
