Children's activities will include: face painting, animal balloons, games, and refreshment stands. The Naugatuck Fire Dept., Police Dept. and Ambulance Corps. will offer safety demonstrations. Exhibition #1: Furniture Dawn Hill Antiques of New Preston, CT will highlight a new shipment of antique Swedish furniture, decorative accessories, and garden antiques. Highlights include a late 18th century Swedish Mora clock and a Gustavian period bench. A new collection of hand thrown pottery will also be featured from well-known Connecticut potter, Frances Palmer. Exhibition #2: Rugs and Tapestries Nemati Collection, a New York city purveyor of fine rugs and tapestries is presenting an eclectic mix of unique woven treasures, including 16-18th century tapestries, 19th century Persian village rugs, and a group of unique mid- twentieth century Swedish carpets. A second generation carpet aficionado, Darius Nemati learned about rugs from his father, who is one of the top experts on rugs, as well as an author on the subject. Exhibition #3 Also on display will be works of art by local and Greenwich, CT resident, Shauna Holiman, an award-winning painter in oil, ink, and mixed media, who also creates innovative, modern stained glass. Past President of the Greenwich Art Society, Shauna is also an accomplished classical singer. Event Time: 11 am - 5 pm
