Grammy winning Native American Flute Player Joseph Firecrow will perform at Hunt Hill Farm at 5:30 p.m. in the Silo Gallery. The performance will include some drumming and singing of traditional songs of the Northern Cheyenne people as well as flute music. Some explanation of how the music relates to Cheyenne life, both past and present, is included. Gallery Director Valerie Culbertson will instruct children in Native American symbolism which kids will use to inspire them to decorate a homemade tipi, paint gourds and listen to stories and music.
