On Thursday, April 14, 2016 the Warner Theatre is excited to welcome living legend Gordon Lightfoot to the Main Stage at 8:00 pm. Infinity Hall will present The Very Best of Celtic Thunder at the Warner Theatre on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at 8 pm. In 2007 producer Sharon Browne filmed the first ever Celtic Thunder show at the Helix in Dublin, Ireland. The concept was to feature a group of men from Ireland and Scotland, who range in age from 21 to 42, and feature songs that celebrate a common Celtic heritage. The resulting show included an eclectic mix of songs ranging from the traditional to international hits and some original pieces along the way. Celtic Thunder is now comprised of five diverse performers. All ticket sales will go through the Warner Theatre Box Office. Tickets go on sale to Members Only on Tuesday, February, 10 at 10 am and to the general public on Thursday, February 12 at 10 am.

Violist Hannah Levinson, soprano Patty Goble and baritone Richard Weidlich will join WCSU Professor of Music Dr. Russell Hirshfield, on piano, and Dean of the School of Visual and Performing Arts Dr. Dan Goble, on saxophone, in a recital performance of music by Rhian Samuel, a prize-winning composer of more than 100 choral, chamber and orchestral works. The WCSU Department of Theatre Arts will present "Smokey Joe's Cafe" in the Studio Theatre of the Visual and Performing Arts Center on the university's Westside campus, 43 Lake Ave. Extension in Danbury. Performances will be at 7 p.m. on April 15 & 16; 8 p.m. on April 17, 18, 24 and 25; with 2 p.m. matinees on April 19 and 26. Broadway's longest-running musical revue is a red-hot evening of rock-and-roll and rhythm and blues standards by songwriters Leiber and Stoller.
