On Friday, at 8pm, NASCAR Hall-of-Famer Richard Petty will take center stage at the Warner Theater where he will be honored with a gubernatorial proclamation that declares June 26, 2009 to be "Richard Petty Day" in the State of Connecticut. An a iconic racing legend, who was the first man to win 7 championships in NASCAR's premiere series, as well as a record 200 career Cup victories. Audiences are invited to come along on Saturday June 27 at 3 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. when the Missoula Children's Theatre (MCT) and more than 50 local students present JACK AND THE BEANSTALK.
