6 pm- 8:30ish. Riesling wines originated in Germany's Rhein and Mosel river valleys, and it was here that this white grape gained its tenacious foothold in today's modern white wine market.   Riesling can span a broad range of styles, being produced in both dry and sweet variations.  Aromas lean toward the fruity-side with apple, peach, and pear at the forefront mixed with delicate floral undertones.  To some people Riesling has always been a world-class grape alongside Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc, and recently it has entered into the mainstream of wine consumers' focus, attention, and vocabulary.   Join us at the event to see for yourself its simple enjoyment yet sophisticated complexity as we taste a variety of wine styles produced around the world from this top-tier grape. Appropriately paired appetizers are always served. Reservations Required. Class size limited. No walk-ins accepted.
