Ives Concert Park Connecticut Ballet’s Summer Dance Caravan

7 pm. Michel Fokine's historic one-act ballet, LES SYLPHIDES, was premiered in Paris in 1909 and featured Anna Pavlova, Tamara Karsavina and Vaslav Nijinsky dancing the leads. Frequently cited as the first ballet to be simply about mood and dance, the Connecticut Ballet premiere took place at The Palace in Stamford in 1986.
