654 Main St.., Winsted, CT Phone: (860) 379-0505..

The American Museum of Tort Law is proud to welcome Connecticut Senator Christopher Murphy and Attorney Josh Koskoff for an evening presentation on guns, the 2nd amendment and the public health and safety issues posed by easy accessibility to high-powered, rapid-fire assault rifles. Senator Murphy was a primetime speaker on 'Ending Gun Violence' at the 2016 Democratic National Convention. His impassioned 'We Have Had Enough' speech, on the heels of leading a 15-hour filibuster on the floor of the U.S. Senate, catapulted the Senator into national prominence as an advocate for bi-partisan, common sense gun legislation. Doors open at 6:30pm. The Senator and Attorney Koskoff will speak from 7:30pm to 8:30pm. A Q/A will follow their remarks. A $20.00 tax-deductible donation, which includes admission to the Museum, is suggested. Reservations are required as seating is limited. Please contact (860) 379-0505.
