The 2014 Washington Connecticut Antiques Show will take place October 10-12, opening at Washington Primary School with the traditional Preview Night cocktail party on Friday from 6:30 to 9:00pm.  Cellist Mary Costanza will serenade guests during this opportunity for advance buying and browsing from an impressive assortment of exceptional antiques and contemporary collectibles. The following evening, the Collectors Party will be held - Saturday, October 11 from 6:30 to 9:00pm.  Come see and be seen in an alluring setting of curated treasures and modern curiosities from around the world.  Show Hours:  Saturday, October 11th 10-5PM. WCSU hosts High School Choralfest

The second annual High School ChoralFest, an adjudicated choral festival that invites chamber choirs from across the state to come sing, receive a clinic and watch other ensembles perform, will be from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Concert Hall of the Visual and Performing Arts Center on the WCSU Westside campus. WCSU Choirs also will perform. The event will be free and the public is invited. Donations to support the Department of Music will be accepted.
