A book signing featuring WCSU Associate Professor of Nursing Dr. Mary Ellen Doherty will be at 3:30 p.m. on the first floor of Warner Hall on the university's Midtown campus. Doherty will sign copies of "Nurses in War: Voices from Iraq and Afghanistan," which she coauthored with Dr. Elizabeth Scannell-Desch. The book, released in April by Springer Publishing Co., explores the experiences of U.S. military nurses during deployments in those war zones from 2003 to 2011. The event will be free and the public is invited.
