The Night of 1,000 Pies - 9th Annual Kent Affordable Housing Benefit - Kent

On Saturday, November 8th, the ninth annual Night of A Thousand Pies. This benefit for Kent Affordable Housing has become a favorite way to start off the holiday season by stocking up on festive desserts.  At St. Andrew's Parish Hall from 12-2:30 PM there will be a sale of pies and tarts of many flavors donated by home bakers, professional bakers and restaurants in the community.  A brunch with quiche, salad, beverage, and dessert pie will be $12 and individual slices of pie with beverage can be enjoyed for $5. All sorts of sweet and savory whole pies will be available for $15 and up. At 7PM guests paying $85 per person will enjoy dinners presented by some of Kent’s great cooks. Menus will vary, including appetizers, entrée, wine and conversation, and all will conclude with dessert pie.
