Due to delays and storm related issues, Connecticut Dance Theatre announces changes in their holiday schedule of events.
"Clara and the Nutcracker" performances previously scheduled for December 1, 2, 8, and 9 are now being held Saturday December 15 and Sunday December 16th with performances at 1 and 5pm each day.  An annual event for more than 20 years, this is the perfect production for children of all ages, since it is a narrated version of the holiday classic.  The performances will be held at the Howland Hughes Center and you can reserve tickets or book a full performance for your school, group, organization, business by calling CDT's office at 203-573-0004. The holiday marketplace and annual Sugar Plum Tea scheduled for Sunday November 25th is postponed.  The Sugar Plum Tea which is a favorite for children will be held during the week between Christmas and New Year's - date and time will be announced shortly.  Bring the children down to enjoy this holiday favorite - tea with the characters from "Clara." The Holiday Marketplace will be held on Saturday December 15th from noon-7pm and will be part of that day's performances and the annual Festival of the Trees, which is ongoing beginning Friday November 23rd.

Jim will tell us about the history of Walker Road Vineyard, including the challenges of growing grapes for wine production in Connecticut’s cold and wet climate. He’ll also share his successes including winning a silver medal for his Walker Road Red Table Wine at a major competition in 2008 that included hundreds of wines submitted by commercial wineries throughout New England and New York.
